San Antonio Texas

The seventh largest city in the United States and the second in Texas, with a population of 1.3 million, the state is located southwest in the United State of America, and the home of the San Antonio Spurs. San Antonio was the fourth fastest growing large city in America from 2000 to 2006, and was fifth fastest growing from 2007-2008. The city was named San Antonio de Padua after a famous Spanish man stopped by in 1691; he was famous for Spanish missions. San Antonio lies near the western edge of humid subtropical climate zone. The weather is dry and humid during the summer and during winter it’s cool and cold in the nights and warm and rainy in the spring fall. Over twenty million people visit the city and its attractions every year, one of the major attraction is the river walk which is lined up with restaurants bar and shops. San Antonio has many arenas for sports such as Alamodome, the Hemis Fair Arena and the AT&T Center which is the home of the San Antonio Spurs and also the home of San Antonio Silver Stars for the Women’s National Basketball League.
